6 succulent 8oz rump steaks, freshly cut by one of our craft butchers, our fresh English / Irish grass fed rump steaks are full of flavour. Rumps is considered to be the cheapest of the four main steaks but cooked right it is the most flavoursome.
Some helpful advice on how to cook your steak.
- Leave the steaks out on the side for an hour to get to room temperature
- Season with a bit of salt and pepper or a seasoning of your choice
- Get your frying / griddle pan hot with a splash of oil
- Rub a little on your steak as well and place into pan
My advice for a medium to rare steak is two and half minutes on each side.
